Underground Pedestrian Link Given Go Ahead For Norwest Station
The State government has approved a new underground pedestrian link for the Norwest Station, which is part of the North West Rail Link.
Baulkham Hills stats Libral MP David Elliot said, " This underground link take pedestrians below Norwest Boulevard, providing a faster and easier link from the new railway station to established retail and commerical areas including Norwest Marketown Shopping Centre," he said.
Building the underground pedestrian link will provide two entry/exit points for commuters utilising the rail system, not to mention kepping pedestrians off Norwest Boulevard with access providing thoroughfare below.
There will be access via the corner of Brookhollow Avenue and Norwest Boulevard (station site) and the corner of Norwest Boulevard and Century Circuit (shopping centre site).
